Within the summer 2014 Quarterly Bulletin, we would like to focus on Sweden. Since the Swedish fund market is particularly dynamic and features an extremely high level of fund penetration. The percentage of Sweden’s population that invests in mutual funds is above 99%.
More than 80% of the population invests in funds directly, for their pension or privately. More than 70% have monthly savings plans that are automatically transferred and invested in funds. More than 60% of children have savings in funds.
Fund eCommerce via MFEX White Label solution
MFEX has launched a new service for fund companies through our subsidiary Fondmarknaden.se. MFEX is a leading provider of paying agency services in Sweden since 2008 and from April 2014 we can offer the service of handling the administration and the legal responsibilities of Swedish end clients of the fund company. This as a great opportunity for fund companies to get access to the Swedish market and clients and to establish an eCommerce distribution channel.
Connected to your website
A White Labeled front end will be connected to the fund company’s web page. The end clients can trade the fund company’s funds with a direct debit/credit of the client’s Swedish bank account, at a Swedish bank. The fund accounts available for the end clients are ISK (individual savings account), IPS (pension savings), fund account, capital insurance.
Fund companies using MFEX White Label solution:
The client can see their holdings and transactions, have access to fund information as KIID, prospectus, statements and NAV history presented in graphs and figures on the front end.
Fondmarknaden.se will administrate all legal responsibilities as KYC, money laundry control, tax reporting, annual statements etc.
